What a lovely week we have had hanging out with the girls, and of course, Spunky Monkey, who is on holidays from school. Actually, I think he might be happier next week when our playdates will be all boys.
As usual we had such a fun time at my cousins farm. We were completely spoilt.
For the kids: dress-ups, popcorn, swings, feeding chickens, farm fresh dippin' eggs and toast soldiers, trailer rides, chocolate cake, homemade hamburgers, sandpit, cubbyhouse, hot chips and wedges for lunch, giant trampoline, races and games, ice-cream cones with sprinkles and sugar fairies.
For the mummy's: creamed rice pudding, lots of hot tea, yummy turkish bread sandwiches with yummy homemade relish, lots of cuddles with babies, lots of cornflake and date slice, red wine, hot chocolate and white tim tams, walks about the farm, toast with homemade marmalade, chat, chat, chat, apricot chicken, tennis lessons (not me)
The weather was freezing, but I left the farm with a handful of recipes, a jar of yummy marmalade and a warm heart.
