More sheets!

Look what a friend gave me yesterday.

It's good to let your friends know that you like old stuff.

Have you received any wonderful treasures from a friend or relative lately?

  1. Lucky you. The designs are so bright and crisp too.
Yes I've recently been gifted LGBs and Johnson crockery by fellow bloggers who know I collect them and keep their eyes open while thrifting.

    1. It is funny that both of you, are the people who have commented on this post.

Just this week I have seen three pieces of milk glass (I don't collect it) in the op shops I have visited. I never ever see it. But this week, I thought of you both (as in: I should get this for Zara or Mel) When I am op shopping, I always look for my cousin, Mrs Gooseberry, but I thought this was perhaps a little weird.(because I don't really know you) After talking to Mrs Gooseberry about this, she says no - get it next time - they won't think it's weird at all:)

Oh course you would be grateful, just as I have been when someone unexpectly gives me something fabulous!

    2. I am reminded of the quote by C.S. Lewis:

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”

  3. Oh what a most delightful gift!
I often will pick up things for others on my travels and have friends do likewise :)
