On a Thursday afternoon, we had the whole town to ourselves. Really, just us! and one or two locals.
We stopped at the swings down by the tennis courts, we ate egg and lettuce sandwiches as dark clouds settled over the village and threatened rain.
We didn't mind. It just added to the charm.
